First of all, the average weight for humans is always changing. 100 years ago, people were smaller then they are now. The reason for this is not easy to define but the reason why weight is changing is simple... evolution. Maybe humans who are larger survive better and have a better chance to reproduce compared to smaller humans, and this is why humans have grown. Possibly, in the future, if weighing up to 140 pounds helped to our survival, then maybe we will evolve to that level. However, this will take thousands of years to occur. For more information, research Darwin and natural selection.
1 kilogram is 2.2 pounds
most people weigh around 70 kilograms[140 pounds]
most people dont weigh 140 kilograms[280 pounds]
Weight = mass x gravity. Weight (in newton) = mass (in kilogram) x gravity (in meter/second2, equivalent to newton/kilogram). Note: close to Earth's surface, gravity is about 9.8 meter/second2.
In 1861, Paul Broca examined 432 human brains and found that the brains of males had an average weight of 1325 grams, while the brains of females had an average weight of 1144 grams. In studies concerning intelligence, it has been suggested that the ratio of brain weight to body weight is more predictive of intelligence levels, rather than actual brain weight.
The atomic mass shown on the periodic chart is the weighted average of the naturally occurring isotopes of that element. It works like this: What is the average weight of 4 people where three weigh 120 and one weighs 90? (In this group, the most common weight is 120 so the average will be close to 120) The weighted average is: 75% x 120 + 25% x 90 = 90 + 22.5 = 112.5 All of the member's weights were whole numbers but the average is a fraction. Each isotope, similarly, has a whole number weight but they occur at different percentages. If you see a whole number weight on the periodic chart it is the weight of the longest-lived isotope since it has no naturally occurring stable isotopes...you will sometimes see this weight in parentheses.
The average is close to 80 inches.
That completely depends on two things -- whatliquid substance you have, and how much of it you have. For example, if it's pure water and you have one liter of it, then its mass is very close to 1 kilogram. If you have only one-half liter of it, then its mass is one-half kilogram, but if you replace the water with mercury, then its mass is 6.8 kilograms. So you see, it depends on the substance, and the amount of it.
! Kilogram = very close to 2.2 Pound weight.
Close to the Earth's surface, each kilogram has a weight of about 9.8 newton. Thus, you must simply multiply the mass by 9.8 (newton/kilogram).
Weight = mass x gravity. Weight (in newton) = mass (in kilogram) x gravity (in meter/second2, equivalent to newton/kilogram). Note: close to Earth's surface, gravity is about 9.8 meter/second2.
Use the formula: weight = mass x gravity Close to Earth's surface, gravity is approximately 9.8 newton/kilogram.
150 pounds is close to the average weight is around 160-170.
ya pretty close
A newton of force is the unit kilogram multiplied by the unit meters per second. It is the most common measurement of force, and is close to the weight of an apple. :)
The average weight of a newborn baby is 5 lbs and 6 oz. A 2 month old baby (average) is 10 lbs.
Weight = mass x gravityWhere gravity is the gravitational field, in meters per second squared, or equivalently, in newton per kilogram. For instance, close to Earth's surface, this conversion factor is approximately 9.8 newton/kilogram.
The average height of an English bulldog is between 30 and 36 centimeters, with the average weight in the United States being close to 45 or 50 pounds. In the United Kingdom the average weight is 50-55 pounds.
You multiply the mass in kilograms, by gravity. Close to Earth's surface, gravity is approximately 9.8 meters / square second (or 9.8 newton / kilogram).
