Hi, the headlight assemblies are two piece plastic, ( bulb housing and clear lens) it has been my experience that after awhile the seal between the clear lens and the housing dries up, disintigrates and when it rains and you have the headlights on the water cracks the bulbs, another possibility is that you may have foreign matter in the headlight assembly ( large glass framents from previous bulb ) which may break the new bulb as you drive. P.S. Check your charge rate, overcharging has been known to burn out bulbs and batteries very quickly!
