Your question makes no sense. Do you mean two hoses from the radiator to the engine? Two hoses from the firewall (thru which the two hoses access the heater) to the engine?
What do you want to know, exactly.
In either case that I mention, the two hoses are used for water/antifreeze mixture to circulate to the relevant parts.
antifreeze is usually mixed 50 / 50 with preferably distilled water for your cooling system ( up to 60 % antifreeze if colder climate ) which includes the radiator , heater core , radiator hoses , heater hoses etc.
cracked hoses
heater coil
The nipple next to the heater core hoses is the drain tube for the a/c . The antifreeze is coming from the heater core , that is leaking .
Find where the leak is and replace the hoses or gaskets which are the culpret.
sounds like a hole in your radiator or hoses.
antifreeze does not enter the engine at any time. locate and follow your radiator hoses and follow then and check for cracks or punctures.
check your radiator hoses and change gaskets
i think you might be talking about the heater hoses , if so it might be the heater control valve . the is a upper and lower radiator hose , but nothing should be between them.
Usually if it's not serious, check the cooling system hoses.
There's a leak somewhere in your coolant system. Check the radiator and the hoses.
