Could be a plugged catalytic converter or a plugged fuel filter.
Is it a new starter motor? It may be incorrect.
if it is back firing out of the carb, and wont completley turn over then you may have a head gaskett problem shaunna 586 738 1782
The batterie cables are usually the easiest
that sounds like your starter motor isn't working, which would explain why there is no noise when you try to restart it
Dead battery. Recharge it and see if it will start. If not, remove the battery and go have it tested.
Not sure but you can try the timing chain.
Check fuel Check spark

when you changed the filter did you prime the fuel system ? this is usually done on the top of where the filter screws on !
I filled 1/4 gas it was almost emty. I drove 3 miles when my truck just died. sounds there somethig wrong with the gas because is has power but wont start.
If there is water in the oil, then the head gasket has failed.

my first thought would be to check the starter . if you can tap on the starter and it starts after that..you have a bad starter .
