Yes, there are also Escherichia albertii; E. blattae; E. fergusonii; E. hermannii;; E. senegalensis; E. vulnerisalbertii lives in the guts of birds in much the same way as we have E.coli - it's an essentail part of our gut, blattae lives in cockroaches, fergusonii is closely related to coli and occasionally crops up in stomach infections. I don't know anything about the other species.
