Well, let me begin by always advising to delete the filters, be it upper or lower. I have done this many of times & it has always worked a treat You do not in anyway need to back up the registry. Navigate to the correct entry in the reg, & delete everything on the righthand side, reboot & you will get your ctrl-alt-del login screen. Login & your good to go, problem solved
