They are the same thing, except that 'anhydrous' specifies the sample as not having any water of crystallisation, which can affect measurements of mass and concentration if present. It gives greater accuracy and reliability to any results.

Papad khar is an Indian term for alkaline salt - sodium benzoate which is widely used as a food preservative known - E211. Alternatively you can use Sodium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarbonate in 2:1 ratio instead of Papad Khar

Is ball mill used as a raw material for the commercial preparation of soda ash sodium carbonate?

A ball mill is a machine used for grinding chemicals, not a raw material. It's not used in the manufacture of sodium carbonate because the process they use to make sodium carbonate kicks it out as a usable powder. In the US, we don't use the synthetic way because we have a LOT of a mineral called trona in Wyoming - so much that it supplies a quarter of the world's sodium carbonate requirements. That is turned into sodium carbonate by digging it out of the ground, grinding it in a rock crusher, dissolving the sodium carbonate into water, then filtering the solution and evaporating it...once again, producing a usable powder.

Chemical formulas for sodium phophate?

Na3PO4 is the anhydrous form - and is the official sodium phosphate. However many chemists use the term to decribe a range of compounds. See the wikipedia article

When measuring reagent containing sodium carbonate what should we use?

For weighing of solid Na2CO3 use an analytical balance; if it is in solution use a graduated cylinder.

Need Help with my pH calculation?

1) 0.10 mol of solid sodium hydrogen carbonate and 0.20 mol of solid sodium carbonate are dissolved in the same beaker of water, transferred to a volumetric flask and made to 250.0 mL. The Ka for HCO3 - is 4.7 x 10-11. a) What is the pH of the resulting buffer? b) What is the pH of solution after 20.00 mL of 0.050 mol L-1 hydrochloric acid solution is added to 25.00 mL of the original solution? c)What is the pH of the resulting buffer after 0.040 g of solid sodium hydroxide is added to 25.00 mL of the original solution? 2) Plan how you would make 100.0 mL of a buffer solution with a pH of 10.80 to be made using only sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate and water.Youshould specify the amounts of sodium carbonate and sodium hydrogen carbonate that you would use. ( the ration acid to base is 3:1)

Would you need to use sodium carbonate for the diazotization of m-nitroaniline?

You need to use sodium carbonate when you are attempting to diazotize a poorly soluble acid, such as sulfanilic acid. m-nitroaniline isn't acidic, so adding sodium carbonate would have no effect.

What is the Frame structure of Serial Line Internet Protocol?

Preparation of standard solution and standardization of hydrochloric acid Objective : To prepare a standard solution of sodium carbonate and use it to standardize a given solution of dilute hydrochloric acid. Introduction : Anhydrous sodium carbonate is a suitable chemical for preparing a standard solution (as a primary standard). The molarity of the given hydrochloric acid can be found by titrating it against the standard sodium carbonate solution prepared. The equation for the complete neutralization of sodium carbonate with dilute hydrochloric acid is Na2CO3(aq) + 2HCl(aq) → 2NaCl(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l) The end-point is marked by using methyl orange as indicator. Chemicals :solid sodium carbonate, 0.1 M hydrochloric acid

What is the common use for sodium carbonate?

Sodium carbonate is an odorless, white, alkaline powder that is used by manufacturers in making soap and glass. Sodium carbonate is somewhat similar to sodium bicarbonate in terms of their chemical composition; the difference is that sodium bicarbonate is a household item which may be used in cooking while sodium carbonate is used for cleaning.
