Because the US planned military drills on that day which were purposely used to confuse the response so that the planes would not be intercepted so the illusion of planes hitting buildings could be used to set off pre planted explosives in the Pentagon, and the WTC.
Also, of course to gain support for unlimited wars and of course for the citizens to sacrifice their liberty for a false sense of safety given by the stupid Patriot act. As well as Oil and Opium. Plus to bring the Middle East into that dreaded word The New World Order. Which of course is global technocracy which of course to make everyone poor except for the super rich also known as Communism.
