He was a hero because for example if someone keeps giving you more and more work to do and only have a little time to finish all that work and you dont finish it you get in trouble and even get more job to do you will get mad and might want to do something about it Is this fair? Think about it this is what happened almost the government was to weak and poor in the 13 states at that time that Daniel shays got mad a rebelled with many many other farmers and soilders so this is why he is a hero in my perspective. Even tho others of his rebellion were granted forgiveness, Daniel Shays was not one of them because the govenment was very scared of him and what he was capable of doing. Then he was killed.
