Bionicle was cancelled due to the fact that LEGO did not want to make any more Bionicles because it wasn't making enough money. One reason why it wasn't making enough money was because the packaging cost quite a lot to make and so did the Bionicles themselves.
Of course, LEGO doesn't care that Hero Factory has all these same problems and less people are buying them.

∙ 12y agoThe last sales, bionicle stars didn't sell well as expected so Lego decided to stop it and make a new model , hero factory to replace it to get better sales.
