It was good because it ended ww2 But was very bad it killed thousands of ppl, And started the cold war which could have ended the world
Both atomic bombs dropped on Japan were successful. What gave you the idea they weren't?
Because the atomic bombs killed many more Japanese civilians than it did military personel.
No.
The only bad thing about the bomb was the loss of life in Japan. Politically and for the good of the entire world, it was a good thing because it saved more lives overall.
No it was not a good idea, as it got the U.S.A in the war and Japan lost its big navy, and million died in the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan.
he had the idea of the atomic bomb and thought the German army had more Info than USA about bombs. Roosevelt wanted to bomb Japan, then Einstein begged him in a letter not to because Germany didnt have as much info as he thought. Roosevelt died and Truman decided to finally drop the two atomic bombs on hiroshima and nagasaki.
Some [people close to the President did not like the idea.
The science fiction author H. G. Wells did and wrote about them in his 1914 novel The World Set Free.
Most of the people killed by the atomic bombs were not members of the military-apex
yeah if you be trippin somethin fierce
To end the war and collapse Japan's means to make war ever again.
Making Japan surrender to end World War 2 was the only pro to the bombing. The main cons are that 135,000 of mostly civilians died as a result, and in particular, the second bomb was probably not even necessary. Lots of second guessing by people not having to live through the war is not really all that helpful, but it is good to reflect upon arguably bad decisions that have been made and to try not to repeat them.
