Well the church was it's own "person" back then. They were able to choose high ranked officials and the King had to often agree with them. The church was a big thing in medieval times. They would help the king some days and hurt him on others. So, all in all, yes it was hard for the king to get control of the church!
Near rivers or streams so that it was hard for people to attack the land or the kings castle inside. They would have to cross the river which was hard, so with a stream and a big hill for the main building so that it was hard to get in and attack the building (erg the kings castle.)
because the king said if you don't work you don't eat. They had to follow the kings law and obey them.
The church had a huge role in the lives of peasants. The church collected the tithe, carried out mass and services (marriage, funerals and baptism)
it was so good
To hard and costly to make.
Some worked incessantly. Others never worked at all. The ones who worked lasted longer.

I am not sure the Church was "hard" during the Middle Ages. The Church spent a lot of energy providing for the sick and poor, giving people refuge, representing the needs of the poor to the kings, and protecting people. There is a link below to a related question, "What was the role of the Church in the Middle Ages?"

it was probably fun but also informative as some people would have illnesses and tradgedies but it normally had nobles and knights so it would be hard to get in if you hadn't got royal blood in you Shroomba Rule!
Spartans had two kings because it was efficient for there government and they liked to do it hard ;)
It means the devil has taken control of your soul. Get to a church and have an exorcism immediately.
Many towns and cities of Europe have medieval churches in them. They are probably so numerous there is no definitive count. If I were in Europe, looking for examples of medieval architecture, the first thing I would ask about would be local churches, and I find it hard to imagine being in France, Germany, Italy, or the UK without having at least one within a half hour drive.

You can not get the Lich Kings armor.
