In the grand scheme of things, nothing is great about Paul McCartney. Sure, he may be the most successful musician of the 20th century, but in no way whatsoever does that mean he's the most talented musician of all time. I mean, he only had half the talent that Mozart and Beethoven did; even Mick Jagger is more talented than Paul McCartney, and Bob Dylan is too, of course. McCartney was only popular because he made Pop Music; even though he's one of the biggest names in music, that does not mean he's actually talented. It's only an opinion that he's talented, because there are some people who hate his music also.
He has his own category in WikiAnswers, and that's pretty cool.
Research 'History of music', you will find the answer.
He was one of the main singers, he sang most often. John Lennon had songs but Paul had more.

Paul McCartney formed a new group after the Beatles, which was called Paul McCartney and Wings.
