if you are asking how the United Kingdom was founded it all happened with the act of the union in 1801 and this was between Ireland, Scotland and England. This is why the union jack has the the flags of those nations in it together. the reason it is now only northern irealand is because the Irish revolted and wanted their own Parliament and so faught and in the end got it but not all Ireland wanted this and still wanted to remain under England rule. and this was mainly northern Ireland so that is now the part of Ireland that lives on as the UK.

∙ 12y agoIt was founded because the King of Scoland, James VI, inherited the throne of England, and therefore by default, Wales too. Since he now ruled over the entire island of Great Britain, it was considered a United Kingdom.
