It was important to china because it helped china send valuable goods across china and good workers and great ideas to make great inventions that made china popular in sales but the most valuable thing that crossed the silk road was paper that everyone uses today but many more things came out of it too.
It brought about some nice new trade the stimulated the economy, and spread some culture
& all the traders and missionaries on the silk road spread their goods & their religion
