The sky is blue because as light travels through our atmosphere the higher frequencies (namely the blues) of it are more readily absorbed by the gas molecules in the atmosphere. These molecules then release that colour in different directions, giving the sky it's blue colour.
The same goes for the sea, the seas blue colour is also caused by refraction and the scattering of light.
It reflects the blue sky.
The reason the ocean is blue is because the color of the sky reflects on the ocean.
Because the ocean reflect to the sky .
The ocean, or the water in the ocean, is actually colorless. They reflect the color of the sky above them so a blue ocean means the sky is mostly blue while a grey ocean means that the sky is grey or cloudy.
the color of ocean is blue because the blue color splits more and the color of sky becomes blue and it reflects the blue color and the color of sea becomes blue
ocean and sky ..
some scientists say the ocean is blue because the sky is blue. At night when the sky is dark, the ocean is too. Open bodies of water actually reflect the sky and the ambiant light from the atmosphere.
it reflects the color of the sky (like how the ocean is gray during a storm)
why is the ocean a diffferent color than the sky
why is the ocean a diffferent color than the sky
People color raindrops blue because the ocean is blue and the ocean is water. The ocean is blue because the blue sky reflects on the water turning it blue. Water is really clear. The ocean is really clear. Since the sea is water and raindrops are water people assume that raindrops are blue and color them blue. Some people know raindrops are not blue but color them anyway because they want to add more color in their drawings.
because the the oceans color is reflected into the sky
