The water comes out of the silencer because in combustion of fuel the products after are water and carbon di oxide. When in morning Engine is cool and we start the engine, the water in liquid state can be seen coming out.

What are advantages of two stroke engines over four stroke engines?

There are a couple, less parts for one therefore lighter. Also, 2 stroke engines fire every time the piston comes to the top. Which means every stroke is a power stroke. 4 stroke engines fire every other time.

Why two stroke engine called by this name?

on 2 stroke engines the cylinder fires everytime the piston comes up. on 4 stroke engines the cylinder fires every other time the piston comes up http://videos.howstuffworks.com/user/4729-two-stroke-cycle-engine-video.htm

2 stroke vs 4 stroke?

On a 2 stroke engine, each cylinder fires every time the piston comes up. On a 4 stroke engine, the cylinder only fires every OTHER time the piston comes up. 4 stroke engines have 4 strokes: Intake, compression, power, and exhaust. 2 stroke engines complete these cycles in only two strokes of the piston by use of ports in the cylinder walls. 2 stroke engines usually produce more power for a given weight/size. But, in gasoline engines, 2 stroke engines are typically less efficient (use more gas) and have much higher pollution levels (note: some newer "direct injection" 2 stroke engines do much better on pollution levels than the typical 2 stroke)

Why do most very large engines operate on two stroke cycle?

very large is the keyword here. for a very large engines that runs large machines, we need high power engines. two-strike cycle engines produce more power than 4-stroke cycle engines. that's why they are used. as they produce more pollution than 4-strokes, they must be limited to small spaced engines machines or large machines that required very high power.

What makes your 2stroke engine smoke?

2 stroke engines burn a mixture of oil and gas. The smoke, typically blue, comes from the burning of that oil in the fuel.

Why do 2 cycle engines run hotter than 4 cycle?

A two stroke engine fires (an explosion in the motor) twice as often as a four stroke. A stroke is every time the piston in the engine changes direction. (From up to down) A two stroke engine fires every time the piston comes to the top where a four stroke will fire every other time. So if two single cylinder engines are running at 1,000 RPMs a two stroke will fire 1,000 times a four stroke will fire only 500 times. With twice as many explosions it will be hotter.

How do you removeplug the air silencer on a 1995 z28?

Goto the parts counter and order the part for the 1LE Camaro. That part comes without the air silencer, and they have plugged the hole. I have one on my 95 Z28.

Compare four stroke and two stroke diesel engine?

The basic difference between a two stroke and 4 stroke engine are1. A 2 stroke engine is an internal combustion engine that performs a cycle inone revolution of the crank shaft(an up stroke and a down stroke of thepiston)as compared o twice that of a 4 stroke engine)this happens because a 2 stroke utilises its beginning of the compression stroke and end of the combustion stroke to perform simultaneously the intake and exhaust(scavenging) however a 4 stroke has dedicated intake and exhaust valves for this purpose.2. Due to the above point there comes several basic difference between their working and construction they aresince a 2stroke fires 2 times the 4stroke in same period of time hence it naturally have more power to weight ratio.emissions are more in case of a 2 stroke naturally because it has ports whichare not as efficient as valves in 4stroke engines but advancement in this field has made them both equally efficient.2 stroke engine can be used in any orientation as this is particularly important in application like chain saw hwever for 4 stroke its not possible until you do some modification which makes the design even more complex2 stroke engine don't last long since they are more open to wear and tear.Two-stroke engines do not use fuel efficiently,Two-stroke engines produce a lot of pollution

Why do engines get discolored?

engines get discolored because of the heat . the heat comes from combustion from gass and air

Where does an airplane get its propulsion?

The aircraft's propulsion comes from its engines.

Do airplanes have exhaust?

Yes,it comes out of the rear of their engines.

What is the noise of an airplane?

The noise of the airplane comes from the engines.
