The use of them in that war was never wrong. It was appropriate.
Mostly because of the civilian casualties, the illness it brought and the devastation.
If you mean by the US then Hiroshima & Nagasaki
On August 6, 1945 Hiroshima was the primary target cityof the Little Boy enriched uranium atomic bomb and the bomb was dropped there. On August 9, 1945 Kokura was the primary target city of the Fatman plutonium atomic bomb, however due to heavy smoke cover from a nearby city that had been firebombed the night before it was not possible for the bombardier to identify the aim point and it was decided to proceed to the secondary target. On August 9, 1945 Nagasaki was the secondary target cityof the Fatman plutonium atomic bomb and the bomb was dropped there, despite heavy cloud cover making it difficult for the bombardier to identify the aim point (as it was the bombardier identified the wrong point, resulting in the Fatman being dropped about 1.9 miles from the planned aim point). The aircraft did not have enough fuel left to consider proceeding to the tertiary target city.
Yes. An atom is made up of neutrons, protons, and electrons, and it is quite possible to break it up into its parts.that is the wrong answer. they could be broken in to smaller parts. people destroy an atom to make energy, which make an atomic bombKilgor4 writes:I FRICKING LOVE THESE TOPICS. Atoms can be destroyed (and make a huge mess of Hiroshima and Nagasaki) but I want to know if they can be dissolved instantaneously and without the explosions (in a sense, can you build a DECREATOR?)
It was actually the lower yield MK-I Little boy bomb dropped on Hiroshima that did more damage. The higher yield MK-III Fatman bomb was accidentally dropped much further from its target (almost 2 miles away) and the blast wave was contained by the surrounding hills.

actually August 6,1945, (if that is what you are looking for) US dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Please excuse my spelling Hiroshima may be spelled wrong, or the end may be wrong. Pretty sure though about Hiroshima. The second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. That one I'm going 2 have 2 take the chance of the spelling. (:
The US became part of WWII after its military base Pearl Harbor was bombed by Japanese forces. The reason why the Japanese bombed the US was because the US stopped distributing oil to Japan. The Japanese figured that the US would appease them if they bombed Pearl Harbor, but they were wrong. Japan ended up being bombed by an atomic bomb in Hiroshima, Japan and Nagasaki, Japan. These atomic bombings led to Japans surrender to the US.
Most people thinks it was not wrong but the question lies on the fact that most of the victims were civilians.

It depends on what your talking about. If your asking why they didn't surrender after the first atomic bomb, the answer is that America didn't give them time. They dropped the first bomb and then the second within days of the first.
The atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on 6th of August 1945 and the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki on 9th August 1945. it was 8:16am when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Also the bomb was dropped by a B29 bomber (type of plane) that was named Enola Gay, after the pilot's mother. And the compartment where the bomb was stored was below -50 degrees to stop it from over heating and exploding, the pilot had to prepare the bomb before dropping it as well, (so it was active/live) this was the most dangerous part of the operation because if he did one little thing wrong it could have blown up right there.
there were many reasons why the atomic bomb was wrong. They killed about one hundred forty five thousand innocent people and the radiation its self was killing people. <><><> The above is an opinion, and opinions differ. The atomic weapons used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were used during a war between the US and Japan. Japan had refused to surrender to the Allies, and intended to continue fighting. Many people consider the use of nuclear weapons to have been justified. Others, like the poster above, don't.
A:if you think about it the Japanese were prepared to fight to the death for every last inch of land and that would cost the Japanese millions of lives, and thousands more Americans would die. so either have millions and then thousands of people die or just about two hundred thousand. i would say two hundred thousand which is the approximate number of lives lost in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Hiroshima Wrong, Tokyo harbor.
