Why when trying to start your 90 geo tracker after running 5 days straight does it not start on the next day?

Try to run it for 6 days straight ..that might work !! It could be many things without knowing any of the symptoms. Such as, is it turning over and not firing? It could be the battery if nothing happens when the key is turned. It could be the ECM as this is apparently common in these vehicles. Turn the key to on, meaning don't try to start it, just click the key to "on". You should hear the fuel pump make a "whir" sound. If not, it could be the fuel pump, or the ECM.

It could be the battery, or it could be the alternator! I had this problem with 2 vehicles I had! It will keep trying to turn over, but, if the alternator is bad, it will just keep draining the juice from your battery.Have a mechanic check how many amps the alternator is putting out. If weak it needs to be replaced. Loren J.

(My guess is that) When you're running your muscles have to work harder, so the muscles in your heart start to work faster & pumping more blood. But you're breathing isn't exactly a muscle so you start to breathe harder trying to catch up with the rest of your body.
