I currently have an 2001 Alero and it has 200800 miles one it. I have not had to replace the engine or transmission. The only issue is the fuel injection. I pay that is all that goes wrong.
The horn is located behind the passenger headlight and the only way to get to it is by removing the inner plastic fender.
Your Alero does not have one: they are usually found only on Ford cars.
Only if its a flex fuel. I'm guessing no.
a cracked head
There isn't one. Ford is mainly the only ones who have a reset switch.
after filling with fuel cycle the ignition several times. when you turn the key on the fuel pump only runs for a few seconds then shuts off that's why its neccisary to cycle it a few times

The O2 senors will be in the exhaust system. They may be in the exhaust manifold all the way to the convertor. You can locate them easily. They will be the only thing in the pipe or manifold that have wires attached to them.
2002-2004 Alero 2.2L Has a Stock Limit of 110, 115 on certain models only. Source: Maxing out speed on Highway
A 3.8 of the same series from any GM Division. 3.4 do not share the same bolt pattern. 3.5 Intrigue engines are only in certain Intrigues and Auroras, and do not share the bolt battern with 3.8s. But this comes from someone who has put a 455 Toro in the rear of an S10, and a W-41 in a Fiero. Anything goes in anything if you are creative. :)
The only way to have the water pump replaced is to take it to the dealer. It is incased with the engine. Approx.cost is $1500.00 This is my 2nd need for the dealer. (repairing the security light/ignition problem. $650.00) All of this in 2 years. Bad, Bad,Bad.
