Why will all the world religions and others follow the beast and the false prophet and not the two witnesses from God during the Tribulation period?

That is a good question... Why would all religions of the world follow the 7 headed beast and the false prophet (Satan as Anti-Christ), and not the two witnesses?

In order to answer your question, one must place themselves in proper perspective during the proper time frame.

If you asked that question in the New York Times, what would be the response you wold get today?

The majority of people in the world today, have never read biblical text, they are wholly ignorant of it.

There are basically 3 classes of understanding which effect your question

1) People either don't care (They have their life and they don't want it interrupted by anything)

2) People have accepted the answers provided by church systems. (Rapture, you will be gone so it does not matter, Revelation is secret and can not be understood , Mohamed was the great prophet not Christ, and Christ was not Immanuel as foretold by Isaiah (7:14), and other such nonsense as that)

3) Perhaps the worst are those who due to belief in Applied Dialectics (philosopha doctrine), have accepted the argument by the Young Hegelians (Feuerbach, Bauer, Sterner, Marx, Engels) that our Father and Christ do not exist. That they were just imagination brought forth by the Jews to control people.

All of this adds up to what our Father spoke through the prophet Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lackof knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law ofthy God, I will also forget thy children.

The answer to your question is thus simple:

People have allowed themselves to become ignorant of our Fathers word.

They are unaware of the two witnesses of Revelation 11 (Elijah and Moses)

They are unaware of Satan coming as the fake Jesus (anti-Christ) ... Revelation 9.

The ones that do attend church and bible study are lied to concerning a great Rapture which our Father speaks specifically against in Ezekiel 13.

13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

All this adds up to a people without knowledge who will be easy prey for the locust army of Satan (Revelation 9).

Look at the scores of people (mostly philosopha) who support the US/European diplomatic deal with Iran (Persia), even through it will accomplish prophecy (Daniel 8). Its great you are focused .... Don't loose that focus..... Continue to grow in and learn our Fathers word, ignore the world and the proclamations of men especially the Philosopha, of whom Paul warned (Colossians 2).

Because the world is "deceived" by the god that it worships:

"This great Dragon - the ancient Serpent called the Devil, or Satan, THE ONE DECEIVING THE WHOLE WORLD - was thrown down to the earth with all his angels." (Rev.12:9 NLT New Living Translation)

This world doesn't have a clue regarding the "Truth" revealed in The Bible... because it doesn't "believe" what the Bible says. Mainly, because so few people actually read it.

This world knows and understands very little of what the Bible says. For one thing: practically no one in the world knows that a "Beast" and a "False Prophet" and "Two Witnesses" are coming.

The "Two Witnesses" may be somewhat more familiar to people in the world than the Beast and False Prophet as far as actually hearing the term, because the world is deceived regarding the Beast and False Prophet of which the Bible speaks. More religious factions in the world are looking for someone it calls "The Antichrist" which ISN'T BIBLICAL... instead of the "Beast and False Prophet" of whom the Bible DOES SPEAK. The Bible says:

"...I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouth of the Dragon [Satan], the Beast, and the False Prophet." (Rev.16:13 NLT)

It doesn't say: "...from the mouth of the Dragon and the Antichrist."

The Bible says: "...I saw the Beast captured, and with him the False Prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the Beast - miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the Beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the Beast and his False Prophet were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire that burns with sulfur." (Rev.19:20 NLT)

It doesn't say: "...I saw the Antichrist captured..." or "...the Antichrist was thrown alive into the Lake of Fire...".

This world follows [and shall follow in the future] THE DRAGON [Satan]... and shall continue to look for ONE MAN -- the Antichrist -- not the biblical reality of TWO MEN; the Beast and False Prophet, to whom Satan will give his power and authority over the world:

"...And the Dragon gave him [the Beast] his own power and throne and great authority... ALL THE WORLD MARVELED at his miracles and FOLLOWED THE BEAST [not the Antichrist] IN AWE. THEY [all the world] WORSHIPED THE DRAGON [Satan] for giving the Beast such power, and THEY WORSHIPED THE BEAST [not the Antichrist]. 'Is there anyone as great as the Beast? [not the Antichrist]' they exclaimed. 'Who is able to fight against him?' Then the Beast [not the Antichrist] was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do what he wanted for forty-two months [3 1/2 years]." (Rev.13:2-5 NLT)

The Bible's prophetic portrayal of the Beast and False Prophet translates into the world's actually coming to believe that the Beast and False Prophet will be God the Father and His Christ on the earth -- THE SAVIORS OF THE WORLD!

So, if the world thinks God has already come to earth... the testimony of the Two Witnesses can only be regarded as heresy and blasphemy.

This deceived world doesn't even know what the Bible means when it speaks of the "Beast." The term which stems from Daniel's prophetic seventh chapter dream of the future leadership of the world. The Bible's interpretation... and world history... reveal the "Beast" to be none other than "MAN'S VILE, BEASTLY [in God's eyes] GOVERNMENTS!" The world-ruling empires of the world!

"'These FOUR HUGE BEASTS represent FOUR KINGDOMS[government systems: borne out by history to be Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome] THAT WILL ARISE FROM THE EARTH.'" (Dan.7:17 NLT)

The world HAS ALWAYS FOLLOWED THE BEAST throughout history! So, why should it not continue to follow the NEXT BEAST [Daniel's FOURTH BEAST, the 'resurrected' Holy Roman Empire that's soon to appear] into the future... into the Great Tribulation?

As for the "Two Witnesses"... they are prophesied to appear during the Great Tribulation... during the 3 1/2 year rule of the coming Beast:

"...I will give My Power to My Two Witnesses, and they will be clothed in sackcloth and will prophesy during those 1,260 day [3 1/2 years]... When they complete their testimony, the Beast that comes up out of the bottomless pit will declare war against them. He will conquer them and KILL THEM." (Rev.11:3-7 NLT)

So, why would the world listen to or follow the Two Witnesses when IT WORSHIPS THE DRAGON AND THE BEAST?

For the same reason it KILLED Jesus Christ... because SATAN OWNS MAN'S GOVERNMENTS... throughout history, now, and into the near future! Because for the time being... Satan wields the power and authority over all of this world's [beastly] governments of man.

"...I will give you the glory of these kingdoms [all the governments of the world - see verse 5] and authority over them - because THEY ARE MINE TO GIVE TO ANYONE I PLEASE. I will give it all to you if you will bow down and worship me." (Luke 4:6-7 NLT)

The soon-coming Beast leader... and his False Prophet... will WORSHIP THE DRAGON... and DO HIS WILL! And so, Satan will give them his power, and throne, and authority over the earth... to convince the world to follow them.

When Moses and Aaron went before Pharaoh on behalf of God's people... Pharaoh wielded the power. And the Egyptian empire did not follow God's prophets.

When Christ was brought before Pilate on behalf of His Kingdom.. Pilate was in power. And the world [and Jesus' own disciples, who abandoned Him for the time being] did not follow Him.

So shall it be in the near future, when the Two Witnesses testify and witness before the Beast and False Prophet as did Moses and Aaron before Pharaoh... the Beast will be in power. And the world will not follow them.

This world HATES Jesus Christ... and His Word, the BIBLE! [look at the attitude of this present world's governments against the Name of Jesus... and against the Truth of the Bible; including the government of the United States of America!] And it hates anyone who belongs to Christ... and who profess His Word, the Truth [see John 17:17].

"'When the world hates you, remember it hated Me before it hated you. The world would love you if you belong to it, but YOU DON'T. I chose you to come out of the world, and so IT HATES YOU... The people of the world WILL HATE YOU BECAUSE YOU BELONG TO ME, for they don't know God [the Father] who sent Me.'" (John 15:18-21 NLT)

The coming Two Witnesses will be preaching the Truth of God... so the world cannot follow them, because it worships the Dragon. The world will continue to follow the Beast... just as it always has worshiped its Satan-deceived government systems and leaders from the beginning, when Adam and Eve first gave their obedience, trust and worship to the Dragon; "...that old Serpent."

The TRUTH is: that the Two Witnesses will be God's FINAL WARNING to the nations [beastly governments] of the earth before Jesus Christ returns to establish His Government [Kingdom] on the earth. They will be the ones who will "preach the Truth about the coming Kingdom of God TO ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH!"

AND THEN THE END WILL COME!

"'And the Good News [gospel] about the Kingdom of God will be preached THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WORLD [the governments and nations of the world won't follow the Two Witnesses... but they will certainly have the undivided attention of them... for 3 1/2 years!], so that ALL NATIONS WILL, at the very least, HEAR IT; and then, finally, THE END WILL COME.'" (Matt.24:14 NLT)

Few people and governments of the world believe the Two Witnesses are coming. And fewer still suspect that a Beast and False Prophet are coming; looking instead for "The Antichrist."

Therefore, practically no one suspects that the Two Witnesses will be the world's last chance to believe the Good News about the Kingdom [Government] of God... and to repent before Jesus Christ, Himself, returns in the POWER and GLORY of God. The world has no clue [although the Bible provides it] that when the Two Witnesses complete their testimony to the world -- THEY WILL BE KILLED THREE-AND-A-HALF DAYS BEFORE CHRIST RETURNS AT THE LAST TRUMP!

"...after three and a half days, the Spirit of Life from God entered them, and they stood up [the dead in Christ will rise first! - I Thess.4:16]! ...Then a loud voice shouted from heaven, 'Come up here!' And they rose to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched... Then the seventh angel blew his [seventh and last] Trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: 'THE WHOLE WORLD HAS NOW BECOME THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD AND OF HIS CHRIST, and HE WILL REIGN FOREVER AND EVER.'" (Rev.11:11-15 NLT)

1. People would love the world and the things in the world: 1 John 2:15-17 - "Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; because everything in the world the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one's means of life does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever."
2. People would let their own desires rules their conduct: James 1:14,15 - "But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn sin, when it has been carried out, brings forth death."
3. The Devil controls the world, including it's information channels: 1 John 5:19 - "We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."
4. The Devil is misleading the majority of the world: Revelation 12:9 - "So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him."
5. The Devil blinds the minds of people: 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 - "If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through."

Jesus foretold most people would not listen: Matthew 7:13,14 - "Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it."
