check under hood in the fuse panel on the right. itll say ignition switch. see if there is a fuse in that slot if not take the fuse from the abs slot and chreck if the engine will turn over.
check your fuses could possibly be a fuseable link by the starter
Check your battery to make sure it isn't dead. If the battery is dead and won't hold a charge, replace and you should be good. If the battery is good I would take it to a mechanic. Check the main fuses under the hood, one may have popped if there was an accidental short while jumping the car.
try checking your fuses
Quite probably the Starter is defective OR the positive lead from the Battery is corroded internally. Check the Terminal Connections as corrosion WILL INTERRUPT STARTER. Could be the Starter Solenoid which on many Models is replaceable.Check also the Engine Ground (different from the Battery Ground) as a incomplete circuit (Open) will not function. Some Engines have 2+ Ground points.Check Starting Circuit/System Fuses and/or Relays. You could just have a dead Battery regardless of the charge shown as there could be a Dead Cell and when Engine cranked, Battery defects.Ask away if none of these ideas provide a positive result.CHEERS!!
Make sure your connnections are tight on your battery. Make sure the ground wire is secure. Also, make sure the positive connection is secure on the starter, & check all other connections to the starter, check for bad wires going to the starter. Also, check all of your fuses. Be sure to check ALL grounds. The battery's and the engine's. The engine has two, or more. The starter has it's own. The battery's, of course. Sometimes oil and grime get in between the ground wires and it's posts on both the battery, and engine. Also, check the straps that connect the engine to the chassis. Some positive cables will incorporate a fusible link coming from the battery.....check. These tips are if there is no power even to your lights. If it's just your ignition, then that's a little more complicated.
