You either have the lockout on or you have a defective master switch.
Reseting the windows in the rear folows the same procedure as the front, only use the convertable top switch.
If it is electric it's switch is on the drivers door next to the switches for the front windows
Run another dedicated hot wire to the drivers window switch. This will provide power to that window no matter if the driver cuts the power or not.
No, they are electric only.
As both the front windows don't operate,it is unlikely to be motors, probably a separate fuse for the fronts and rears.A contact has told me that some astra-g convertables have a central window switch which lowers all four together, you may have a wire loose on this. Also, the front windows get a signal from the central locking,if locks or battery have been disconnected recently, you may need them reprogramming at a vauxhall dealer.
There are 2 armrest pads on the left door panel- the smaller armrest to the rear and one towards the front which contains the master window and door lock switch. It contains 6 toggle switches for the 4 windows, the master door lock switch, and the lock out for the other 3 windows. Pull the smaller rear armrest from the end towards the rear of the car up until the clip releases. Then pull it back so the front tang releases. Then pull the front of the front armrest with the master switch up until the clip releases and then forward to release the rear tang. You can then release the electrical connector from the underside of the master switch. If you want to remove the switch from the pad, there are 4 Phillips screws on the underside.
SWITCH UP= FRONT TANK
There is a switch that allows you to open and close the Lincoln Navigator rear side windows. The switch is located on the overhead console.
The switch for the rear wiper is on the same lever as the front wipers. It's a circular switch that turns forward & backward.
Check the switches make sure they are good. if they are then the problem is either the window motor or the window regulater. Maybe a bit obvious but just checking - If both of them are not working then check the isolation switch - its the extra switch on the drivers panel that stops the kids from playing with the rear windows, it should be in the up position. good luck.
front climate control has two switches, front fan and rear fan control, on the rear fan control - turn the switch to the second notch usely marked rear fan control (aux - control) mode.
In California you can only tint the rear sides and rear windows only (as dark as you want). The front sides and front windshield can only be tinted with a clear film or none at all. Lastly, in orange county, the fix-it ticket for front windows is $77+.
