When you turn your ipod on for the first time and it says connect to iTunes do you need to have iTunes or can you just connect it to the computer for it to work?
You have to have iTunes. That is why it is saying that you need to connect to iTunes. You have to download the latest version of iTunes from Apple's website, and open it up when you have the iPod connected to the computer.
