this happened to me when tires of a different size were installed on the front than were on the back. at around 40, traction control thinks the tires are slipping, because one set is rolling faster than the other. didn't think of trying to turn off traction control at the time. went back to the shop and we figured it out and got 4 of the same size on, and no more problem.
It is possible that the plastic connector is melted, you can get one from auto parts store but it is better if you hard wire it .
1994 mark viii wont shift into 3rd
did the clutch cable come off? (if its a manual) that or there is a problem with the transmission.
buy a posi differential. it can be welded but it wont last long

In your trunk there is a air ride susp. On/off switch
Was it making any kind of out of the ordinary noise? Likely burned out but check the wireing for breaks where it could ground out etc.
The most common reason for a transmission not to shift properly is low transmission fluid. Make sure the transmission fluid is up to the full mark.
Either your Air Ride switch is turned off or you have a bad compressor. My compressor died on me because of a bad selanoid... have a mechanic look into it. be warned, it can get expensive.
check your idle air control valve...turn the vehicle on and if it stays on by you stepping the accelerator then its your iac valve
No it wont
