One reason a 1993 Chevy Lumina may turn over but not start could be the battery. It may also be the spark plugs.
check your mass air flow sensor . tap on it GENTLY . should start
Yes, you can jump start the battery on a 1998 Chevy Lumina. To do so, connect the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery to the positive terminal of the working battery, then connect the negative (-) terminal of the working battery to a grounded metal surface on the Lumina. Make sure to follow safety precautions and ensure the vehicles are off before connecting the cables. Once connected, start the working vehicle and then attempt to start the Lumina.
Either a bad starter or the engine control system trips and thinks the van is over heating when really it isnt.
your key is probably wore out and tumblers are not moving
Most oxygen sensors are either on the exaust headpipe just after the manifold or on the manifold. I don't know where it is exactly on the Lumina but that is where you should start looking.
1999 Chevy lumina, won't start, security light comes on ,can jump the starter but motor will only run for a short time , strong battery ? tried different keys , no good ? help
The car will start and run poorly in the limp mode and the check engine light will illuminate.
Check your Transmission Fluid. If it's automatic, it could simply be low.
