To get to D you need to pull in
To go from D to D3 you just pull down, don't pull in
To go from D3 to 2 or 1 you then pull in again.

check vaccum lines on differential or by shift linkage
Because your shift solenoid is dirty and needs to be cleaned out with a carburetor cleaner.
It could be a number of things, but more than likely its a dead battery. It could also be an alternator.
Dead cell in battery or the alternator is defective. That is assuming all words are connected and not corroded.
