Some of the possible causes that I can think of right now include:
To hot wir a car you need jump leads. You need to connect the battery in your car to the battery in another car that is working using the jump leads. Then when you start up car #2 it will give car#1 enough electricity to start itself. From there, it will recharge itself as you drive.
You may have a weak battery, try jump starting it with another car or battery.
jump leads on battery pack
jump leads or a battery pack
Check for loose or corroded battery cables Check for loose connection at starter or ground
Use another vehicle to jump start it, or replace the battery, or charge the dead battery with a charger.
I would check the battery terminals, probably a buildup of corrosion between the posts and the terminals, clean them up with boiling water and sandpaper till both parts are shiny clean. If you are connecting the jumper leads to the battery terminals when jump starting and it works fine then this is the only possibility.
After I tried the above without success, I called the dealer. I have a 2002 XK8. There is a hole for the key between the X and the K just above the rear bumper. The battery is to the right of the spare.
My vs commodore won't start it's like a flat battery when I connect jump see leads from another car it slowly turns over but stil like not enough power ?
sounds like a flat battery get a battery charger or jumpstart it with jump leads
The battery seems to be a problem on this vehicle. A recharge could fix the issue but a new battery may be necessary.
You can start a car without a battery if you hook up a jump pack or use jumper camples but it could fry your alternator. It is pointless to charge a car without a battery. When you charge the car you are charging the battery.
