I think I may have endometriosis , but I'm waiting til I'm 18 to see the gyno so I can work up the courage! But definitely go to the doctor if you have period pain, because they should be able to help with the pain a little bit, if not completely :)

If she no longer has normal cycles - and at 65 she shouldn't - why do anything at all? The time to treat endometriosis has passed by that age.
