Why won't a girl robo hamster mate with a boy Russian dwarf hamster?
ive always heard that they cant because they are a cross bread. but a boy robo and a girl russian can, it makes no sense!
There are two kinds of Russian Hamsters: Winter White and Campbells. They may be able to breed with each other.
No, they cannot breed together because they have to be the same breed. . . Or you might end up with one dead hamster.
depends is is it a girl or boy & is there a mate?
No they can not only Dwarf hamsters can mate Dwarf hamsters Only Teddy bears can mate Rex hamster or teddy bear hamster or Regular hamsters.
Yes Because you can mate 2 different kinds of dogs and 2 different kinds of cats so yes you can
yeah of course they can hamsters can mate with all different hamsters
No, they cannot because all hamsters have to be the same breed to mate.
Yes, as long as you do it right.
yes other dwarf hamsters not that much with bigger hamster because the bigger hamster might eat it (the dwarf hamster)
4.3 seconds (thts a rough estimation!)
sometimes only if the hamster is not a dwarf breed or too small
you just buy a male and a female hamster and they will eventually mate
Just a few months.
Yes, but they will mate, and you'll get a lot more dwarf hamsters.
No. One is a Syrian Hamster, the other is a Dwarf Hamster. They are not the same species, they are not even the same genus.
to get the female hamster pregnant you have to have a male
NO. If you put them together, they will most likely try to kill each other.
yes, some do fight ... me and my friend were trying to mate ours , and they started to fight, ... If you put 2 dwarf hamsters in the same cage , DONT look away ... if they start fighting ,don't leave them fighting , they could kill each other .. or 1 could kill the other one ... does any one no if a dwarf hamster could mate with a black bear hamster?
You first have to get two boy and a girl then you get a 10gallon tank and a bed toy and toys at night put a blanket on the cage and leave the room do this for ab a week soon you'll have a baby hamster known bye experience
as long as it's a boy and a girl and they like each other they can mate with any kind of hamster
If a boy hamster does not want to mate but the girl hamster wants to mate and so it causes a fight what do you do?
put beer in there hamster water bottel and he will be laid in ten minute!
Very hard, you shouldn't let your hamster mate, it's a really big responsability.
'Golden' hamster is an alternate name for a Syrian Hamster. Assuming the albino female is too a Syrian Hamster, then yes, they can mate. If it's some variety of dwarf hamster, then no.
No because they will mate.
Only robo's. They are a different species to all other hamsters, so the babies may have health problems, will definitely be infertile and there is no certainty that the parents will actually mate. The only hamsters who can cross-bread are Russian and winter Whites as they are essentially the same breed.
they get on top of the girl tortoise
YES. How else would they continue the species? ;-) But seriously ... I have a pair of dwarf hamsters, and just yesterday ... babies were born! There is a lot of info online ... just google "dwarf hamster"!
Why wont my male Roborovski hamster mate with my female Campbells Russian dwarf. They can stay in the same cage together but sometimes have a little fight?
I DO NOT KNOW XD just kidding I believe that you can't put russiandwarves with roborovski's or they will fight.
No, they only mate when the female is on heat. Since she is pregnant the male won't smell that she is available for mating and he'll leave her alone.
If it is on the backside of a female, it is just part of her natural cycle. It means she is ready to mate.
Yes it is. It's better for the relationship to be mother-son or father-daughter though, but your hamster babies should be perfectly normal.
Depends what you mean by 'type'. If you mean can a Syrian Hamster mate with a 'teddy bear', 'black bear', 'fancy' hamster, etc, then all these names are simply variants of the Syrian, and are different species. Therefore they can all freely breed together. A syrian hamster though cannot be bred with dwarf hamsters, or European hamsters, these are different species.
Answer No, it needs male reproductive cels No.
It means that they are trying to mate ( trying to have sex ) to make a baby
Get a boy hampster and a girl one to really like each other
It is not recommended to let them breed, hybrid hamsters tend to have a higher risk at cancer and are overall unhealthy, they can carry a lot of congenital problems.
I imagine as long as the snow white is attractive enough and assuming all the parts fit, then yeah, they could totally get it on.
ya...? sure is it...coz if ur hamster has mate with the female hamster will not mate anymore..i mean when baby was born will not mate anymore...bcoz male hamster tyhink that ios the female ehamster born with other male hamster
Not to live together but if your intention is to mate them then it should work quite well. Generally speaking hamsters are solitary animals with the exception of the Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamster which quite often can be very social with it's own litter mates but even that can go wrong sometimes. Syrian hamsters should NEVER share the same cage with another hamster with the exception of mating and then removing the male after. This… Read More

By putting a girl hamster and a boy hamster together in a cage. Then they will likely mate. Then if you've observed them mate or it has been about 2 weeks, you should separate them, but leave the female with the babies. Do not touch the babies otherwise their mom might kill them and eat them .
With hamsters it doesn't matter is they're relatives or not, as they will mate anyway, so the answer is no.
My dwarf hamster is so vicious she runs at my hand to bite it and she wont let go when she bites shes literally hanging from my hand with her teeth and she claws at me too can i stop her doing this?
its probably because you don't hold the hamster enough. what gender is it again? if its a boy it shouldn't be vicious if its a girl it should be kind of vicious also you might need to find it a sole mate.
Yes, the father hamster can mate with his daughter just like the mother can mate with a son or brother. Hamsters generally are not picky about their partners.
Put them in a not crowded spacial area and let them be. Don't get more hamsters into the space with them because the male or female hamster may mate with the wrong hamster you wanted. Good luck with a million baby hamsters!
To mate your dwarf hamsters, you have to have one female and one male hamster. Make sure they have separate cages, and when your female hamster is "in the heat", (hamster period, this means she's ready to mate) put them together in one cage for a few minutes. Observe. If they start fighting or biting each other, separate them immediately! Try again a few days later. If they like each other, they will mate and… Read More
