Obviously, anyone trying to answer this question has very little to work on, and I can't answer it. However, here's a thought. It's just possible that, unconsciously, you are giving off messages that suggest that you wish to be left alone, or something along those lines. Please ask people who know you really well. The reason people want ask you out is because: 1. They feel strange doing it. 2. They are secretly in another relationship, but doesn't want others knowing. 3. This is the biggy :"Why buy a cow if you are getting the milk for free". If you have had incounters with this person, but he want take you out for dinner, DUMP THE LOOSER!!!! Hope this helps.

∙ 13y agoYou cannot get an answer to that question from an anonymous volunteer. You need to ask someone who knows you. You must ask a trusted friend or relative to be honest with you. However, you must prepare yourself to respond appropriately to what you may be told:
- listen and do not get defensive- if you ask for some honest advice don't kill the messenger
- be willing to make some changes in your manner, behavior, appearance, etc.
- prepare yourself to be open to self-improvement and don't get hurt feelings by what you hear- instead take action

1. Maybe because he is very shy and wont have the guts to ask you out.
