You should not use laundry detergent in your dishwasher. It produces too many suds and the dishes will not rinse correctly.
Modern dishwasher "soap" is actually a no rinse detergentfirst developed for the US military for use in mess hall dishwashers to help reduce the incidence of food poisoning in troops. Never use soap in a dishwasher!

Yes you can. Just don't put dishes in it at the same time! just pour a puddle of clr and water mixture (mix as per instructions on bottle) onto the bottom of the dishwasher. -Don't use to much or the dishwasher will have bubbles on your floor.- Make sure to scrub problem areas e.g. calcium and rust. then run dishwasher EMPTY on it's "light wash" or "quick rinse" option and turn off the heat dry (you don't need to dry an empty dishwasher!). Do not leave the house until the cycle has finished. When cycle is finished, remove the filter and sprayer arms/tower and rinse in clean water. repeat if necessary. Enjoy your now clean dishwasher.
If you wash in a dishwasher, it's because your water has too many minerals in it. This clouding is called "etching." Use a finishing rinse like Jet Dry.

Putting a cup or two of plain white vinegar in the dishwasher and running it without soap is a very good and inexpensive way to clean and freshen the dishwasher.
I recommend that you use a sink full of foamy water at a temperature of about 50oC.
Use shampoo and conditioner daily. It will eventually rinse out.
Dishwasher detergent can get expensive. Homemade dishwasher detergent is cost-effective and often works better than store brands. Simply mix one cup of borax, one cup of baking soda, one-half cup of kosher salt and 15 packets of unsweetened lemon- or orange-flavored drink mix. Store the mixture in a container with a tight lid and shake before each use. Use one tablespoon of detergent for each load. To prevent cloudiness, add white vinegar to the dishwasher's rinse-aid compartment.
Yes, I do it all the time. I usually throw in a tablet and a cup full of vinegar in my dishwasher. I find it boosts the cleaning power of the detergent and I get much cleaner dishes as a result. I also use it as my rinse aid. With this combination, I find that I don't have to run empty cleaning cycles as I almost never get any buildup from the detergent/dirty dishes. The vinegar not only helps clean the dishes, but it also keeps your dishwasher clean.

I use Jet Dry in my dishwasher to help. I have also been told that if you put too much plastic in the dishwasher, it won't get as hot during the drying cycle. That leaves water on dishes and spots. I was told that by a dishwasher repairman. It does seem to make a difference. There is a new product out that actually filters the water going into your dishwasher. I used to have ugly, white and cloudy looking glasses until I installed this product. After the first load my glasses looked fantastic!!!! It's affordable too. No. You will more than likely need to wet your hair for the kool-aid to saturate to coat the surface of your hair. Also instead of using Kool-aid there is a such thing as temporary dyes which works better than kool-aid which is non-damaging to your hair. The kool-aid will make your hair very dry and it is not recommended that you use it on your hair. To use kool-aid first you would want to shampoo, rinse and condition your hair and rinse again. After rinsing the conditioner out you can apply the kool-aid to your towel dried hair and let it set for about five to ten minutes and then rinse and style. However I recommend going to a beauty suppply and purchasing a rinse which will nourish your hair while coloring and the color is temporary, which means it last from shampoo to shampoo. (A few washes).
All apliances are tested in the factory this means they have to use water in the machine which sometimes is not emptyed out.
