I won't say this is the answer to your problem only that it may be useful. This may seem very unrelated but I had downloaded a chemistry lab set and installed it into my game. When my sim used it in game the sim was no longer able to clean up plates off the table or get food from the refrigerator. You could have something added to your game which corrupted your sims file.
The solution I found to reset my sim was found at modthesims.com
Pull up the cheat box by pressing the Control+Shift+C keys together and type "moveobjects on" without the parentheses in the cheat box and hit the ENTER key.
Next go into buy mode. Now you can grab your sim and move him. This was the scary part (I didn't like the sound of this myself) but the instructions said at modthesims.com even though it may seem scary to do this, it is perfectly safe to do. You can delete the sim as if you were selling back a piece of furniture.
Save the game after you've deleted the sim! I had to reread the instructions several times to be SURE of this step! Usually I would never save if I got a significant glitch of some sort, but I did not notice the problem with my sim till after I had saved my progress already, so in my case I had already saved the corruption. SAVE and then exit to the neighborhood screen!
Now re-enter that house. Sim will be RESET and standing ready and waiting out by the mailbox and trash can. FIXED!
Be sure to use the cheat box again and type "moveobjects off" because that cheat will continue till it's turned off and should not be left on as you might accidentally move something that shouldn't have been!
It will not affect your sim's friends family or any other sort of relations!
It will not cause your sim to lose his job.
It WILL reset your sim's motives. So if you deleted your sim when he was fully green or nearly all red in whatever,(energy,hygiene,bladder,etc) his motives will be just like a newly created sim. *full energy,mid bladder,needing a little social*
Personally if I were getting these instructions, I would go over to modthesims.com and try to verify them there! It's a very good sims site!

Make sure there is enough space on the side you want your sim to sleep on. Then just click on that side and choose 'sleep' it should work. If it comes to it, block the side you don't want your sim sleeping on; then again, does it really matter that much? - Hope this helped!

Okay so there really isn't a task just make sure your Sims are like inlove. And to make sure they wont reject each other make sure you go to each Sim and they are both able to propose if not there not ready. But really there isn't any Task you have to do its just make sure love is in the air.

If you take the sim card out of your iphone then you wont have service peroid. Doesnt matter if the sim card is out and you have no service on your phone, your still paying no matter what.
