It's really difficult to answer questions like this, where there's a problem and multiple possibilities exist which could be causing the problem, and no diagnosis of the problem was performed. I see it a lot with AC systems, as well.
The three likely candidates - 1: No power to the radio. This could be caused by a blown fuse or faulty wiring in the circuit. 2: No ground to the circuit. Faulty wiring in the circuit or a loose ground connection would be your likely culprits. 3: Just a bad head unit.
Either way, don't mess with it yourself - a 2014 model year vehicle should still be under warranty. Have them deal with it.
