Blown fuse.
If the radio in a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan quits working, it is likely a blown fuse. It could also be faulty wiring or a defective radio.
The radio fuse would be under the steering column and the relay would be under the hood in the PDC (Power Distribution Center.)
I owe a 2001 doged caravan sport my radio is not working properly after changed the altarnator
it has 400 watts
Use a sledge hammer. Mine goes out to lunch for 2 days after any battery disconnect.
The fuses are in the box under the hood. It is called the Power Distribution Modual. It is right beside the battery and says IPM Fuse and Relay Center Here is a link to the Wiring Diagrams for the 2006 GC http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2006/rs/rsmo.pdf Hope this helps.
The IOD fuse is on the left side of the fuse box under the hood, is a 15 AMP fuse. Without or blowed fuse, the radio would not work, power locks does not work, accessories light would not work. This information is for a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan.
All fuses are in the under hood fuse box. The lid has them numered and labled. Look for RDO, and another that also feeds a power outlet.
It is under dash just above driver left knee.
