check fan relay/fan relay control module
under the radiator and cooling fans, right in the middle.
They run on 12 volts.
replace the cooling temperature sensor
the most common cause is the fan module
under the hood with the other fuses like your primary and secondary cooling fans under the hood with the other fuses like your primary and secondary cooling fans
The wiring is not correct. It needs to be checked out by someone that knows electricity.
The radiator cooling fan will run to cool the radiator to below the fan turn on temperature. You may want to have your cooling system checked if it happens regularly as your Buick may be running hotter than normal when driving.
check connections to the fan for corrosion, check fuses, connect jumper wires from the battery (12 volt) to the fan(s) to check for operation bypassing the fuses. Fans motors can fail. There are two of them. One costing more than the other. ($70 for both_rough estimate) The entire shroud with motors and fans can be purchased as well. (excess of $240 ) I am not sure about the following. The AC may not function when the radiator cooling fan motors have failed. Additional note: there are 2 different radiators installed on the 2000 century.
The cooling fans are the only cooling source for a air cooled engine.
Hi, If you count OFF, then the fans have 3 speeds: 1) OFF, 2) Low (half speed), and 3) High speed. If you would like more detail, I have included a link to how the cooling fans work in these vans. Good Luck, Greg
Low coolant? Radiator dirty or plugged? Bad thermostat? Bad water pump? Cooling fans not working? Bad radiator cap?
When building a PC you will need to position the cooling fans. You should refer to the documentation to work out how to do this.
