Why won't your laptop make any sound?

the probable culprit is that the audio drivers are either corrupt or missing. if missing go to the laptop manufacturer's website and look there if not try a Google search or even chack out www.driverguide.com Good Luck

First of all you have to check that the volume is muted or not,

To do this you have to go to start,settings,control panel,sounds and audio devices.

under the volume tab (in device volume)click on the advanced.

under the master volume check whether it is checked or unchecked.if it is checked then uncheck it and then increase the volume.

Now if it doesn't work for you then install the audio driver from your driver CD which is given the the laptop or if you don't have it then identify your mother board model number by a software named driver detective.you can download it from this link:

then a file will be downloaded named([isoHunt] Driver Detective 6.4.0.7 Crack.torrent)

To download this file you will need a software called utorrent

double click it and install this utorrent on your computer then after installing double click on that file named ([isoHunt] Driver Detective 6.4.0.7 Crack.torrent)

And just download it.after this install the software by the information given in that (How to Crack.txt).now update the software and your model number will be displayed on that window.

Now just go to the manufacture site(eg:Intel,Mercury,etc)

and then type or search this model in that site and then you will get its software and drivers and then download its audio driver and install it and then restart your computer.

Okay, go to start, control panel, Sounds and audio devices.

If it has not recognised any sound device, its likely your sound drive is corrupt or doesn't work, or if you had some virus to wipe some of your hard drive you might have lost it there. The only way i know to get it back is by having a HP laptop because that's the type i have, but type in on Google/firefox...

If you have a Mac go to system preferences and if you are using headphones select headphones in the output place.

If you have a hp, what worked for me is i got soundmax of the hp website.
