Double check that all sensors are hooked up.
Check for spark at the plugs.
Check for fuel pressure.
If you are working on a Chrysler product you need to make sure both engines are from the same year. There is a difference in the what the crank and cam senors read. (the tone wheels on the cam and crankshafts)

Are you saying that the starter motor turns but dosent engage in which case new starter motor or is there something you've missed out. Help us guys to help you by being more descriptive please.

Is it a new starter motor? It may be incorrect.
If the motor turns over then start by checking for fire at the plugs. Check to make sure that the timing belt is not broken and is working properly. Check the cam and crank sensors for proper operation, as well as proper fuel flow.

That engine needs fuel, compression and spark to start and run. You are missing one of those.
A starter motor turns the engine initially whilst fuel is vapourised in the rotating cylinders and ignited, taking over from the starter motor.
