Why wont my 2001 Chevy cavalier start when the battery is full?

first you must make sure battery is good just because your lights and radio work does not mean there is enough amperage to crank over so load test battery, if battery is checked ok make sure your cable that attach to battery are free from corrosion and tight grab cable one buy one and try to move them. i hope you are talking about a car that does not crank or try to start. if no crank try to start car in nuetral wiggle shifter when trying to start. do you have a security light on when trying to start if yes you have a anti theft problem if no if you know where your starter is have someone hold the key in the start position while you bang on the starter motor i reccommend some thing wooden so not to short any wires if it starts replace you starter dont be afraid to give it a few wacks and make sure that key is as far as it will go aftet having no luck testing equipment must be used for voltage checks
