We are having that problem with our 1999 G20t. My honey first had the alternator and battery checked (he removed them ad took them to Advanced Auto). Those were in great shape. We were told it could be the ignition starter switch or starter fuse. Those two parts are only available at the dealership and not too expensive if you can replace it yourself. We are looking fro pictures on the net that might show us were those are located in the car. Hope that works a little.

I had a similar problem turns out the Alternator was bad.
A vehicle needs three things to run. Air, Fuel and spark. You didnt say if it turns over or not. If it doesnt turn over you could have a dead or bad battery which would be fixed by replacing the battery or testing the charging system. If it turns over but no start check for spark and fuel pressure and that you are getting air into the intake. If the battery is charged and it does nothing check the starter.
To get a 1990 Corvette to start if it turns over and the battery is good, check to ensure the fuel filter is not clogged. You also need to ensure it has plenty of gasoline.
Check your charge in your battery. Just because all things turn on does not mean your battery has enough power to start the engine. Charge your battery or get a jump start.
it was the battery. i put a new battery in it and it turns over good.
start by having the battery checked. If the battery is good, then check the starter relay. If this is bad, repalce the starter. Also check battery connections. Sometimes they can seem tight but just aren't. Take them off the battery terminals and clean them. This will also stop your batter from charging.
Weak battery or the theft alarm is activated. Try unlocking doors(all) with the key.
out of battery
If the car will not start after replacing the battery, then the battery was not the problem. If it will not turn over, you may have a bad starter or bad connection. If it turns over but will not start you either have no fuel or no spark. You will have to determine which.
turn the key? no start? check the battery connections. clean them make sure they are tight turn the key no start? turn on the headlights if you have bright headlights, the starter may be the issue. if you have no headlights, look at charging the battery after battery charge turn the key tries to start or clicks probably a dead battery if the car turns over and just won't start do you have gas? If the car turns over and tries to start that means the battery and starter are good now you need to find out why you are not either getting spark of fuel.
its probably a dead battery if u cant start it up after a few minutes
Was it running before the old battery went south? Did you have a check engine light before you replace the battery?
