Well usually its because your carb is sticking and causing throttle to stay open
there is a little screw on the back of the carb. if you loosen it, it will idle slower, tighten it, it will idle faster.
To bring the idle down on a Yamaha badger is really easy. All you have to do is adjust the fuel settings on the carburetor.
To set the idle, adjust the carburetor.
The Yamaha Raider does not have a idle adjustment based on the fact it has no carbs. It is fuel injected and auto adjusts based on the temperature and fuel delivery.
