We will always try our best to provide you a great answer you can use. But if not in a little while your question might be updated or completely changed if necessary. Because we're jerks.
The members of this site who knows the answers give answers to the questions asked by others.
This site answers questions, it does not write reviews.
I find that looking for answers to questions on this site can be laborious.
Answers is awesome because it doesn't give you all the gobbledygook that Wikipedia does. It gets straight to the point.
We discourage yes-no questions and answers. We prefer you ask a specific question that allows for more than a yes-no answer. We prefer to give details in answers-- unless the only answer we can possibly give is yes or no.
You ask "Does this site support liberal Democrats, because you will not answer a question about the negative in the history of Democrats?" The best answer is "No." But it is more complicated than that. The site, as you refer to it, uses ordinary folks to answer questions. Just folks, like you and me and the next guy. The people who answer questions do so because they volunteer to do so. Nobody gets paid to answer the questions that come in. When you take on the responsibility to answer questions the answers you give should satisfy the person asking but also be viable for the next person who wants the same question answered. While it is very tempting to give slanted answers and very difficult to give answers that are not slanted that is the goal of folks who volunteer to answer questions on this site not to give biased answers. At least that is my goal.
Actually, this site answers many questions. It is just that answers are not usually immediate. Sometimes people give inappropriate answers and they have to be cleared so others can see the questions and have the chance to give appropriate answers. It is possible that others don't know the answer, so you have to wait until someone can answer. Now, if you ask the question poorly, don't categorize it correctly, or break the rules, you might not get any answer.
For the exact same reasons straight people do: because they have questions, or because they want to share answers. What did you think?
We try to give answers to many questions, but that is where we need help from everyone. Anyone can come on the site and answer questions, but many people ask and don't answer. Maybe we could all help by finding a couple of questions that we can answer and doing it... then more questions overall will be answered. :)
