Igniton goes from the key to the starter in a general sense. The intake manifold brings air into the engine aka "air intake". Spark (ignition) eventually occurs at the spark plugs.

depending on the type of distributer, it would be inside the distributer. might check the pcm if you have no spark.
check your distributor cap and rotor, check the coil, check the wires, check fuses for ignition.

They are under the 6 ignition coils. There is a coil for each spark plug. You have to remove the coils, and then remove the plugs.
