* no gas in the tank * dead battery * bad fuel pump * bad spark plugs * clogged fuel filter * defective starter motor * seized engine
Stuck/faulty fuel pump relay or possibly a faulty ECM.
i replaced the steering colomn in 95 buick regal and now it wont even turn over.does the different key that i got with the colomn have any thing to do with it not starting.?
ohm your crankshaft postioning sensor if it is open this is it also could be your module under your coils
The sending unit is likely faulty
It wont start because the key has a pelet on it that has a code. When the computer reads the wrong code, it dosent let the starter move and dosent let fuel through the motor. :)Belmin
Could be the fuel pump, or the lines themselves are clogged. I would trace the lines from the tank all the way up to the carb.
Check your fuel filter and pressure.
Check you battery
1992 buick road master after you put a new battery it crank but wont start what is the problem
I had this same issue with my 2001 Regal. How long has it been since you have done plug/wire change? I changed mine and now starts/runs like a charm. My plugs/wires were still factory.....250000 miles.....hope this helps
Do they have the same engine? If not, then no, it wont work. If they do, make sure they have the same fuel pressure requirment. If the engine and pressure is the same, they should be interchangeable.
Assuming there is not a major internal problem you need fuel, spark and air to get an engine started. So, from what you described I'd be looking at a problem with getting spark, probably from the ignition coil.
