Do any of your lights work ? or if the key is in the ignition and the drivers door is open
do you hear the warning chime ? If not , it sounds like a bad battery cable connection
or a dead battery
Check the headlite switch.

Yes they will with no rubbing an you dont even have to lift it rims will go on an you wont even notice the difference
Iive got a 1992 crown vic and i got 22's on it and it doesnt rub any. People were trying to tell me they wont fit but i did it any way. I can turn as sharp as I want and my rims dont rub at all. Take it as you want though.
I would suspect they WILL fit. If the lug bolt pattern is the same, which I am 98% sure that it is, they will fit. Check the lug bolt spacing to sees They have different back spacing and stick out too far. But they will fit on the car.
no it wont work ur 1996 thunderbird has a 4r70w aode trans which is an electronic trans, the 85 crown vic aod trans is not electronic it will probably bolt up... but not much else
