Typically this is because the drivers did not unload appropriately from some device that was recently installed. I would uninstall the most recent device you put on or in the system, and see if it works. Also ensure that you have all the critical updates!

Try this, it worked for me. CLICK START-CONTROL PANEL-PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE-POWER OPTIONS. Then click APM- Enable Advanced Power Support Answer Check your power supply whether it is AT or ATX.
If you do not see a blue screen, then your power supply may be on its way out, or a component on your motherboard may be not holding its correct values. A new cooling fan wont hurt.

If the windows on your 2002 Envoy will not go down, and you have replaced the driver's side master power switch, you should make sure that the window hasn't come off track. This would prevent the windows from going down and it would make a clicking sound.

look for obvious problems first like the fuses. then test if there's power going to the motors that open and close the windows. if there's no power its a short in the circuit. if theres power, try testing the motors with an alternate power supply to check if they are working. but they shouldn't all brake down at the same time.

Overheating. Is it overclocked, is there dust in the power supply, is there no air flow. Very common in laptops.
windows down- more drag. It would take more gas to keep the car moving because the windows would slow the car down.
It would be better to supply your camera with power by using a suitable AC adapter and to set the 'Auto power off/down' camera's option to 'off'.
