Brakes dragging? Return ports on master cylinder restricted? As brake fluid heats it expands, if fluid return passages are plugged calipers will expand causing brakes to apply
Im losing engine power in my 2003 CTS?
Losing power as if bogging down? My 98 Monte Z34 was doing the same thing only when very damp or raining. Was told it was an emissions problem. Turned out to be a crack in the ignition coil pack. Not sure about your muffler but mine actually is a small hole and will need to be replaced.
Try a basic tune up. New spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. When the vehicle is in first gear and you are accelerating, that is when the most load is on the engine. It sounds as though under a load, you are losing your spark because it is arcing out where it should not be.
Satellites measure Antarctica is gaining sea ice but losing land ice at an accelerating rate.
That is a slang term for the motor going outside of its power band, thus stops pulling, or accelerating. So, the car goes from a couple of degrees of negative G forces, to none, which is equal to hitting the brakes, hard, and sudden. No real toll to the driver, however, in racing, if you are not accelerating, you are losing. Another way to say it is it is "laying down."
Tighten it up!
When a Hyundai is losing compression in its engine the car will not run properly. Symptoms of low compression are misfires, stalls, and overheating.
A leak, a poor connection or it is burning it.
YES
check the vacuume lines Need more info, do you mean the blower is losing volume? BClear.
This depends on how you define your axes. Let's assume they're defined as normal (being positive is accelerating, negative is breaking, and for velocity positive is driving forward, negative is driving in reverse). Then of course, you are speeding up. This simply means the train was in reverse, but it's accelerating in the positive direction now.
Your engine could be losing power and your check engine light coming on for many reasons. It could be your spark plugs needing to be changed. Your fuel pump or fuel filter could be clogged or starting to wear out, or your engine oil is to low.
