This sounds like a stuck VCC solenoid. Replace the solenoid. Keep in mind that aftermarket parts may cost as much as $5 less, but some require cutting and grinding and wiring adaptations to fit, so OE is nice.
how would you remove the rear speakers to a cadillac sedan deville 1990.
ON A 1998 SEDAN DEVILLE IT 'S COMPACITY IS 7.5 QUARTS SO I WOULD SAY MAYBE BETWEEN 6 - 7 QUARTS.
The DeVille could have low transmission. Or the internal transmission bands or valves could have failed. The transmission will most likely need a rebuild.
If you are talking about a 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville DHS and DTS it would be just a trim level. DHS stands for Deville High Luxury Sedan and DTS stands for Deville Touring Sedan. The DHS had some extra luxury features the DTS did not, but the DTS was still a more pricey trim level with a higher output Northstar V8, 17 inch wheels, floor shifter, bucket seats and a firmer ride. All things the DHS trim or standard Deville trim did not have.
in 2012
If there is no diagram under the hood, I would have drawn a diagram before the belt was removed. Just saying.
The diesel sedan deville that I owned had two batteries in it, so I assume the coupe deville would also. Most diesels now days, or at least V8 diesels, have two batteries to aid with starting and cold weather.
I would have to say about 20" max
The check engine light would illuminate.
Assuming you have not noticed and leaks or puddles near the car the next thing would be to watch for steam coming out of your tailpipe. If there is you probly have a bad head gasket.
A 97 Deville would be equipped with the Northstar V8 engine, therefore, it has 8 spark plugs.
i have a 97 cadillac deville and the gas tank is 20 gallons.i would assume that it is the same on all of this model
