Check the cam sensor and the wiring harness that runs to the cam sensor to make sure it isn;t pinched or crimped, especially if someone has recently worked on the vehicle in that area, if the wiring harness is not put back where it was it can get extremely hot and short out causing the camsensor to malfunction, when it cools off , it will work fine. I had this problem among others with a 93 grand voyager.
