Why would a 1997 Chevy Silverado stop running while driving acting as if there is no fuel and there is fuel?

You need to check the fuel filter first. You can find it up in the drivers side frame rail just behind the cab. You will have to lay up under the truck to see it. If the fuel filter is not stopped up then get a fuel pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure. I believe you will find your problem in 1 or the 2 places. If not the ask your question again. THANKS.
